A huge evening of finals finished two months of matches to complete the biggest internal championships that Hunts County Squash Club have ever staged.

For the first time, Elphicks of Huntingdon sponsored the championships and this helped elevate the event with tournament shirts for every entrant and superb trophies.

Beginning at the end of September, the start of the squash season, more than 230 matches across 10 different categories finished with the superb Finals Night event.

With both squash and racketball being contested in both singles and doubles events, nearly every member was involved in the championships either as a player of spectator.

The two biggest titles went to Lizzie Kilsby (Women’s Open) and Diego Pita (Mixed Open Champion).
